2023 Bel Air Saint Croix du Mont – Saint Croix du Mont – A bit on the reductive side in the perfume so it requires some air to find its grapefruit and lemon core of fruit. This is going to at its best served cold as an aperitif. Drink from 2026-2028. 85 Pts

2023 Carbonnieux Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – Granny Smith apples, peppery citrus, and lemon rind notes are there with just a swirl or two in the perfume. 2023 ChateauOlivier Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – Even better in the bottle than it was during the aging process, this is crispy, juicy, and fresh. The citrus is a blend of vibrant, yellow fruits and green apples with a delicate touch of orange rind in the nose and on the palate from start to finish. This is going to be delicious to enjoy on release, and it can age for a decade or more as well. The wine blends 80% Sauvignon Blanc, and 20% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2035. 93 Pts
2023 Cheval Blanc Le Petit Cheval Bordeaux Blanc – Bordeaux – The pungent nose pops with white flowers, white peaches, pears, orange rind, spice, and mint leaf. The palate continues along the same path, kicking off with sea salt, peppery spice, citrus, pomelo, and crushed stone. The wine is sweet, vibrant, juicy, lively, long, and powerful, resting in the middle of austerity, purity, and elegance. 2023 Clos Marsalette Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – A faint touch of vanilla, waxy lemons, flowers, ginger, and green apple scents pop in the nose. The palate is fruity, and most importantly, fresh, with a nice shot of sweet citrus, more of that ginger and a dab of honey that comes in at the back of the finish. The wine blends 56% Sauvignon Blanc with 44% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2030. 91 Pts
2023 Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, roasted grapefruits, green apples, nutmeg, and pears are ready to be enjoyed, in the nose, and on the forward, sweet, juicy, and importantly, vivid palate. This is ready-to-go as soon as it hits the stores. The wine blends 70% Semillon with 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Drink from 2026-2033. 91 Pts
2023 Clos des Lunes Lune d’Or – Bordeaux – This stunner is fabulous from the initial sniff, with its showy perfume packed with honeysuckle, roasted nuts, pineapples, green apples, and honeyed spices. The palate is equal to the aromatic profile with its generous display of sweet, ripe, tropical fruits, lush, opulent, vibrant, creamy textures and minerality that shows up and lingers in the finish. This is the first vintage produced from 100% Semillon. Drink from 2026-2033. 94 Pts
2023 Clos-du-Beau-Pere Blanc du Beau Père – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, orange rind, white peaches, and flowers create the aromatic display. The palate is creamy, vibrant, and sweet, with a nice touch of minerality that adds to the lemony finish. This is already quite nice in your glass. The first, and still, the only white wine from Pomerol in over 100 years could only come from Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. Produced from blending 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sauvignon Gris. Good luck finding any, as the production is limited to about 200 cases. Drink from 2025-2031. 91 Pts
2023 Cos d’Estournel Blanc – Bordeaux – White flowers, lemon curd, spice, almonds, oranges, and crisp, green apples form the bouquet. The palate is bright, zesty, fruity, and fresh. The finish has a spicy tone to the sweet, lively yellow citrus in the finish. This is the first vintage including the new blocks, bringing the vineyard to 10 hectares of white wine grape varietals. The wine is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. Drink from 2026-2033. 95 Pts
2023 Cos dEstournel Pagodes de Cos Blanc – Bordeaux – Waxy lemons, flowers, honeysuckle, and Marzipan permeate the nose. The palate is vibrant, fresh, juicy, and fruity, with an appealing blend of yellow citrus and a hint of white peaches in the finish. The wine is made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc with 20% Semillon. 2023 Couhins Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – Honeysuckle, lemon wax, pomelo, and white flowers are easy to spot in the nose, and on the crisp, bright, citrus and pineapple-filled palate, leaving you with a fresh and refreshing finish. 2023 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – I loved this in barrel, and it’s even better in the bottle, which is always a great sign. The bouquet bursts with a lively display of flowers, lemons, white peach, Granny Smith apples, vanilla, almonds, and a hint of pineapple, all blending into a rich aroma. The palate is lively, vibrant, and fresh, showcasing its vivid layers of sweet, juicy, creamy, and pure fruits, leaving you with a perfect touch of crushed stones and marine hints that make you want to take another sniff, swirl, and sip. On the palate, the wine is fresh, juicy, clean, and pure, with notes of green apples and yellow citrus on the palate and in the finish. 2023 Les Charmes-Godard Blanc – Côtes de Francs – The honeysuckle in the nose is readily apparent before you move on to the perfume’s white peach, pomelo, tropical fruit, and mango nuances. The vivid palate is even better, with its energetic, creamy-textured display of white and yellow fruits and their mineral-edged, tropical-leaning character. 2023 Malartic Lagraviere Blanc – Pessac-Léognan – Showing even better from the bottle than it did in the barrel, the wine pops with its aromatic display featuring honeysuckle, white peach, almonds, waxy, candied lemons, and pineapple notes that are all over the place. 2023 Pichon Baron Les Griffons de Pichon Baron Blanc – Bordeaux – Almonds, white peaches, orange rind, spices, pineapples, and pear aromas are all over the place. The palate is creamy, with fruit sweetness and a touch of ginger and spice that come along for the ride. This is the perfect wine to place inside a blind tasting. The wine is produced from 100% Semillon, from less than 1 hectare of vines grafted onto Cabernet Sauvignon. The grafts came from massal selection of Suduiraut Drink from 2026-2033. 93 Pts

2023 Suduiraut Pur Semillon Grand Vin Blanc Sec – Bordeaux – The nose pops with honeysuckle, lemon meringue, white flowers, pears, lemon curd, and ginger-tinted aromatics. The palate delivers its creamy freshness with aplomb. The fruits are definitely touched by a spicy, peppery edge, adding complexity. 2023 Suduiraut Vieilles Vignes Grand Vin Blanc Sec – Bordeaux – The aromatic profile evokes a Sauternes, with honeyed citrus, flowers, candied orange rind, and vanilla bean. But then the palate has its own story, with a lush, energetic, crisp, and spicy, fruit-laden profile with a racy, citrus endnote that really hangs with you. 2023 Tour Saint Christophe Angela – Bordeaux – Blending roasted nuts with ripe pineapples, honeysuckle white peaches, herbs, and a hint of vanilla, the wine is forward, fruity, and ready to go. The wine blends Sauvignon Blanc with other allowable Bordeaux white wine grape varietals. Not much was made. In fact, the production was only 175 cases in total. You can enjoy this on release. 2023 Tronquoy Blanc de Tronquoy – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, pineapples, white peaches, spice, and roasted pears appear in the perfume. The showy palate delivers an elegant display of tropical fruits in a fresh, refined, mineral-driven style. This is going to be great on release, and will be at its best in its honeyed-fruity youth. The wine blends almost equal amounts of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. Drink from 2026-2031. 92 Pts
2023 Valandraud Blanc de Valandraud – Bordeaux – Honeysuckle, pears, green apples, white peach, and lemon curd aromas pop in the perfume. Vibrant, sweet, and creamy, with layers of salt-tinted yellow fruits, ginger, and white peaches are well-displayed in the mid-palate and finish. The wine blends 53% Sauvignon Gris, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 7% Semillon. Drink from 2026-2037. 95 Pts
