2015 St. Julien wines are stylish and consistent. While many estates in Saint Julien produced good wine in 2015, as you will see, two estates made much better wine than their neighbors.
All vintages are not created equal. 2015 is stunning for St Emilion. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the clay and limestone soils produced stunning displays of ripe fruits and hedonistic pleasures at all price levels. The First Growths deserve their status and there are several new players to discover in 2015 as well!

2023 Saint Emilion Satellite Appellation wines can offer wine tasting experiences at the same level as their famous next door appellation, St. Emilion. The terroirs are similar, if not the same. In fact several of the best vineyards located on steep limestone plateau’s can produce outstanding wines, which sell for a very fair price for wines at that level of style and quality..
2012 Chateauneuf du Pape wines are lush, forward, open, elegant, silky and stylish. They deserve to be tasted and enjoyed while waiting for some of the more recent big vintages to come around.
2016 St. Emilion produced a bevy of great wines, especially from select, water retentive terroirs with pure fruits, silky tannins, exotic textures and due to lower alcohol levels, freshness. Some vineyards were obviously more successful than others. At the top, these are some of the best wines the appellation has even seen!
