Still youthful here, another 5-7 years are needed before everything really starts coming together. The tannins are ripe, the texture is akin to velvet and the smoky, dark berries in the finish resonate for ages. Opened in the name of science, I'm waiting another 5 years before popping another bottle. Very concentrated, fresh, young, rich and loaded with ripe, juicy, blackberries and a hint of dark chocolate in the soft, opulent, textural finish. This is still quite young, lush and vibrant. I'd wait 4-5 years before popping another bottle. The wine was decanted about 90 minutes when I wrote this note. I upgraded the score with 2.5 hours of air, which added a really silky feel to the wine. It will be interesting to see how this progresses tonight.
