The Wine Cellar Insider celebrates first birthday

The Wine Cellar Insider has been online one year today. Happy First Birthday!

The Wine Cellar Insider made its debut in late June, 2010, just a few days before I left to taste 2009 Bordeaux wine. I remember the day we went live. It was Fathers Day. To celebrate, I opened a 1982 Chateau L’Evangile with my dad. I flew to Bordeaux in the morning. It’s been fun, hard work and interesting keeping up and improving the web site. Since we went on-line, The Wine Cellar Insider has made numerous from a technical point of view, as well as in the material we offer you. Much of the improvements came from suggestions readers sent us. Thank you to everyone. Please keep your ideas coming. We strive to make this a better site for you, and everyone else that reads us.
.
We went on line with 1,400 wine tasting notes. We had 300 separate pages of research for you to browse. We had about 500 exclusive photographs for you to view as well. Plus, because we were new, we only had a few posts under our belt. Since that time, we’ve become one of the more credible sources for Bordeaux wine information and tasting notes. Our reviews for 2010 Bordeaux were cited by numerous Bordeaux Chateaux, negociants and merchants all of the world! Wine Searcher has recently started offering links to pages on The Wine Cellar Insider as well!
.
One year later,  The Wine Cellar Insider has a lot more to offer you as a reader.

As of this morning, we have over 3,000 unique, searchable, exclusive, wine tasting notes! That data base grows on a daily basis. There are over 2,000 photographs for you to view. With over 600 indexed pages covering a myriad of wine topics, we have more than doubled the amount of research material for your perusal. Since we first went online. we’ve published almost 350 posts!
