The wine reached 13.9% alcohol with a pH of 3.8 and is aging in 100% new French oak. Picked between October 16 and October 18, this is one of the latest harvests for this individualistic estate. On the palate, the crushed rock, smoke, thyme and melange of red fruits really hits the spot! This is just starting to enter its prime time window. You can enjoy this now, or wait 3-5 more years.
