Packed with aromas of licorice, flowers, plum and chocolate, the wine is supple, already open and delivers an elegant, supple finish. Drinking it, I found myself thinking of Catherine Pere Verge who passed away earlier this year. The grand dame of Pomerol is definitely missed.
