2016 Château Le Rey  (Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux) 92

Opaque in color, this is fat, ripe, sweet, juicy and down right sexy! Lush, yet fresh, the wine has good density and length. This will be delicious on release. The wine is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, reaching 14.% alcohol with a pH of 3.3. This is a new wine from the talented Jean-Christophe Meyrou. For a wine this good, it sells for a song.
