Château Haut-Chaigneau (Lalande de Pomerol)
Medium-bodied, soft, forward, fresh, and fruity, with a core of chocolate, and cherries, along with hints of spice from start to finish. This will be best over the next decade. The wine blends 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2026-2034. 89-91 Pts. 1,157 Views Tasted May 4, 2024 |

Château Haut-Chaigneau (Lalande de Pomerol)
Black cherries licorice and chocolate, with a minty endnote really works here. There are loads of sweet, ripe, pit fruits, and just the right amount of chocolate, with a background note of espresso, to keep everything going in all the right, directions here. This is the best vintage of Haut-Chaigneau I have ever tasted. This should be ready to go on with a just a year or so of aging. Drink from 2026-2038. 191 Views Tasted Mar 1, 2025 |

Château Haut-Chaigneau (Lalande de Pomerol)
Light in the nose, and on the palate, what you do find is soft and easy-going, but there is not a lot going on this year. Still it is going to offer early, drinking charm over the next few years. Drink from 2024-2029. 565 Views Tasted Mar 9, 2024 |
