Trinité Estate Acaibo (Chalk Hill)
It has been slightly over a year since I tasted this last. Over the past 12 months, the wine has filled out and softened a bit, now, the medium-bodied wine shows a nice floral character with notes of vanilla bean, espresso. spice box, black and red fruits, and a touch of spice on the nose and on the palate. The red berry finish comes with a touch of dust in the tannins. The wine is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. 3,520 Views Tasted Feb 11, 2022A light touch of oak, peppery spice, red berries and earth is the prelude to a medium-bodied, fresh, bright, classicly styled wine with a crisp, red berry core of fruits. 3,059 Views Tasted Jan 27, 2021 |
