Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Deep, dark, rich, and intense, the wine offers ample concentration. This is a good thing because you want as much of those ripe, smoky, black, red, and blue fruits with their flowery, olive, cocoa, and salty accents, along with their lushly textured finish as you can get. Drink from 2022-2037. 2,108 Views Tasted Oct 9, 2022 |

Domaine des Rémizières Blanc Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Richly textured, with vanilla, flowers, orange and yellow citrus rind with touches of honey and petrol come from a blend of 97% Marsanne and 3% Roussanne. Oily, luscious, crisp and fresh, if you are a fan of white Northern Rhone wine, this might be a wine to consider. 1,791 Views Tasted May 16, 2017 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Just a super wine. It's far too early to be checking in on it, but in the name of science and all that. Powerful, concentrated, long and intense, the fruit is ripe, stony, fresh, crisp and sweet. There is length, complexity, almost palate staining richness and character. Perhaps 5 more years, or longer will be about right to check in again. 2,818 Views Tasted Mar 15, 2018 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Dark in color, this young, powerful, concentrated, tannic wine is not a lot of fun to taste today. With air and effort, earth, sweet blackberries, smoke and stone notes come through, but I'd wait several years before popping a bottle. 3,705 Views Tasted Dec 23, 2014 |

Domaine des Rémizières Autrement (Hermitage)
Tannic, tight, young, intense, rich, full bodied and concentrated... And did mention tannic? With 3-4 hours of air, dark berries, smoke, tobacco, earth and peppery characteristics began to emerge. The finish is long, fresh and loaded with fruit. At least 5 more years are needed here. That being said, this could end up being a real treat in the years to come. 1,741 Views Tasted Oct 24, 2015 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Big, powerful, tannic, rich, balanced and far too young to be tasting it, but in the name of science, things do happen. This full bodied, concentrated gem has a lot going on. The tannins are ripe, the nose is packed with minerals, coffee bean, blackberries, herbs, pepper and licorice. This wine takes up a lot of room on your palate with all its layers of ripe berries. For a wine at this level of quality, it is more than fairly priced. If you're looking for a great Hermitage and some of the big boys are out of your price range, this is a wine well worth cellaring. 2,922 Views Tasted May 24, 2013 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Dark ruby in color, with licorice, coffee bean, wild strawberry jam, garrigue, mint and black cherries on the nose. Full bodied, powerful and concentrated with soft, potent ripe and almost, overripe black cherries in the mouth. This is not a subtle wine. The tannins are polished giving the wine a nice roundness to the texture. With 2 hours of decanting, this was drinking quite well. 3,658 Views Tasted Sep 24, 2013Thick, rich, dense and packed with layers of ripe, earthy, dark berries, tannin, iron and spice, the wine offers intensity, purity and plush textures, Still young, this has not moved much since it was first bottled. This is hedonistic expression of Hermitage. 3,359 Views Tasted May 9, 2012 |

Domaine des Rémizières l'Essential (Hermitage)
Fully ready to go, the wine is concentrated with layers of lush, round, ripe, sweet, fleshy, dark red fruits, smoke, wet earth, and spice. Opulent in nature, the wine shows no sense of overripeness or heat. It is generous, deep, and long. with a smoky edge to the fruits on the palate and in the finish. Drink from 2024-2034. 1,739 Views Tasted Jan 4, 2024The color shows maturity, but that is not represented in the wine, which is still youthful. On the nose, the perfume pops with extremely ripe, Port like aromas, with figs, black cherry liqueur, burnt toast and blackberry jam notes. On the palate, the wine is thick, fat, intense, concentrated, and lush. The wine feels like Port on your palate. It is long and packed with black cherry liqueur on the palate. The oak is slightly noticeable in the finish. After 5 hours in the decanter, the wine did not budge. It will be interesting to see how this ages. It could go either way, but for now, it gets the benefit of the doubt. This is a unique style of Hermitage that other wines will never deliver. With a total of 3,994 numbered bottles for sale, it's not an easy wine to find in the marketplace. 2,988 Views Tasted Sep 24, 2013 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Good depth of flavor, lots of ripe, dark red roasted fruits, smoke, pepper and earth. Medium/full-bodied, with good energy, the wine has softened and filled out. If you are sitting on any bottles, there is no need to wait for further development. 3,566 Views Tasted Jan 14, 2020Deeply colored and filled with fresh picked blackberries, jam, minerals and licorice scents, this deep, rich, full bodied Hermitage wine is still young and shows a lot of freshness. Structured to age, with ample concentration in a full bodied style, the wine ends with long, soft, pure dark fruit notes. 4,843 Views Tasted May 26, 2011Roasted black fruit, pepper, minerality, mushroom, jam and forest floor aromatics greeted your nose. This young, powerful, full bodied, intense wine has tannin to resolve. But the tannins feel ripe and round. Ripe spicy blackberry flavors dominate the finish. 4,584 Views Tasted Aug 21, 2010 |

Domaine des Rémizières Cuvée Émilie (Hermitage)
Ruby colored with lightening at the edges. Cherry girotte, mineral, earth, leaf, anise, smoke and herbal aromas are easy to find. In the mouth, the wine is soft, concentrated and at this point, most of the tannins have melted away. The finish ends with sweet and sour cherries. This should age and evolve for at least another 10 - 15 years. 3,344 Views Tasted Aug 18, 2012 |
