2022
Château Trapaud (St. Émilion Grand Cru)
The strong floral, and tobacco notes in the perfume spring from the blend of 60% Cabernet Franc with 40% Merlot. Medium-bodied, soft, and approachable, the finish is a bit light, but fresh, and plummy with a lot of lift, and spicy herbs in the finish. Drink from 2025-2037. 441 Views Tasted Mar 1, 2025 |

Château Trapaud (St. Émilion Grand Cru)
Mint, pepper, flowers, and black raspberries form the complex aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, fresh and plummy, with a side of crisp red cherries and peppery spices to match. Trapaud has one of the highest percentages of Cabernet Franc planted in Saint Emilion today at close to 70'%. This is quite successful for the vintage. Drink from 2024-2037. 1,740 Views Tasted Mar 5, 2024 |

Château Trapaud (St. Émilion Grand Cru)
An interesting wine, due to this blend, 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, the pops aromatically with nuances of flowers, espresso, seaweed, licorice, spice and black cherries. Medium-bodied, silky and fresh, with a supple-textured tone to the fruits, polished tannins, good energy and sweetness to the berries. There is a touch of dark chocolate and sea salt that comes in the end that rounds everything out. Drink from 2023-2037. 1,420 Views Tasted Mar 21, 2023 |
