Chocolate mint, smoke, licorice, incense, flowers and plums create the nose. The wine is round, plush, polished and all about its inner core of sweet, ripe, plums, black cherries, licorice and cocoa. Produced from blending 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, even though the wine reached 15% ABV, there is no touch of heat.
