2018 Château Monlot Cuvée Prestige  (St. Émilion Grand Cru) 92

Deep in color, the wine pops with licorice, flowers, espresso and black raspberries. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied, soft, silky and polished. The fruit is ripe, fresh and carries its sweet cherry essence like a prize for the finish. Give it a few years in the cellar and it will be even better. 91-93 Pts

2016 Château Monlot  (St. Émilion Grand Cru) 92

With good color the wine is soft, polished, fresh and lively. The fruit has sweetness, energy and a nice sense of purity. Round, elegant, fleshy and already easy to drink, this is quite nice. Chateau Monlot made its debut in 2012. The wine was made from a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc.
