There is a serious depth of flavor, good concentration, and length. The finish is as dark as the perfume with dark chocolate coated plums, black cherries, espresso, and licorice. There is a refreshing, floral mouth aromatic in the finish adding complexity, and freshness. With aging, this is going to be one of my favorite vintages of Hosanna. The wine blends 74% Merlot, with 26% Cabernet Franc. The harvest took place September 7-September 19. Drink from 2029-2055. 95-97 Pts.

Youthfull, fresh, full-bodied, rich and luscious, the oak is now much better integrated than it was 2 years ago allowing all those juicy, ripe, sweet, earthy, chocolate dusted, dark plums and black cherries to come to the surface. The tannins are softening and the wine is filling out. Another 2-3 years and this could really start showing its stuff.
