Net yields in 2009 were only 19hls/ha. For the first time the property employed laser optical sorting, a practice that will continue. Malo took place in barrels, with subsequent aging on the lees for six months. Plans call for the wine to be aged for 15 months in 50% new and 50% one year old barrels.
