Bouchard Père et Fils Montrachet (Montrachet Grand Cru)
From a .89 hectare parcel with gravel and limestone, the wine offers a perfume filled with fresh picked flowers, citrus fruit, lemon rind, vanilla and minerality. Rich in texture and with ample acidity to give it lift, the wine ends with a long, clean, pure, sweet, ripe, lemon filled finish. I really liked the wine. But I was stunned by the price. This will sell for about $1,000 a bottle! Trust me, this was one wine I did not spit. I should of had a second taste. 3,990 Views Tasted Feb 23, 2012 |
