2019 Amphora wine Clavis Orea  (St. Émilion Grand Cru) 92

Deep in color, the wine serves up loads of coffee bean, licorice, black cherry, smoke and wet earth in the nose. On the palate, the wine is round, rich, lush, ripe, velvety and fleshy. The fresh, sweet black fruits and espresso tones keep on coming in the opulent finish. The wine is produced from 100% Merlot and is aged in about 1/3 new French oak. 91-93 Pts

2019 Amphora Wine Clavis Orea  (Médoc) 90

The debut vintage for Franck Jugelmann in the Left Bank produced a meaty, earthy, spicy and smoky wine, with thyme, vanilla, red fruits and green leafy notes in the nose. Medium-bodied, bright, fresh, slightly crisp and with an herbal note in the red berry finish, the wine is soft and round in texture, with a piquant bite of berries in the leafy finish. 89-91 Pts

2018 Amphora wine Clavis Orea  (St. Émilion Grand Cru) 93

Very ripe, fleshy, dense and oaky, the wine is plush, polished and packed with layers of dark red fruits, licorice, smoke, espresso and chocolate. Hedonistic in style, give this a few years of age, allowing it to become an even better wine. 92-94 Pts
