Deeply colored, the wine opens with black cherries, smoke, licorice, dark chocolate and plums on the nose. Soft, lush, round and polished, with a luscious core of black raspberries, espresso and cocoa on the mid-palate and in the finish. The wine was aged in amphore. Depending on your personal taste, the odd-shaped bottle wins the award for the best or worst shaped bottle of the year.
