|2019||Clos Bellane Urgonien (Châteauneuf-du-Pape)|
Clos Bellane Urgonien takes its name from the type of limestone in the soil, Urgonien. The vineyard is a tiny 1.14 hectare of vines blending 77% old vine Grenache and 33% Mourvedre. The wine is, fruity, fresh and mineral driven. The salty palate works perfectly with the ripe red fruits and their peppery edge. Give it a few years in the cellar to develop more complexity and to fill out and it should be an even better wine. Drink from 2024 - 2035
