Deeply colored, the wine reminds me of eating black forest cake with all of its dark chocolate, black cherries, coconut and espresso. Powerful, concentrated, lush and creamy, there is a wealth of perfectly ripe, balanced, opulently-textured fruit on the palate and in the finish. 2022 was the last vintage for the owner, Denis Barraud who passed away shortly after the wine was made.
