Château des Fougères Clos Montesquieu Rouge Fougeres (Graves)
Much better in bottle than in barrel, the wine opens with a strong savory edge to the leafy tobacco and red currant nose. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fresh, bright, dusty and crisp, with a peppery accent to the herbs and red fruits, with a hint of cocoa in the finish. This will probably be at its best in its youth. Drink from 2023-2030. 440 Views Tasted Mar 21, 2023 |
