This stunning sweet wine offers intense concentration, extremely high sugar levels and a blast of bracing acidity keeping everything up on your palate, and never allowing the wine to become cloying. The purity of fruit in the ripe and over-ripe apricots, orange and white peach all slathered in honey is a treat, indeed. Instead of tasting impressions, perhaps using terms like; stunning, incredible, mind blowing, intense, 60 second finish or other words of phrases would help make my point. After a long night of some very good red wines, this was popped, instantly grabbing my attention with its unctuous textured, incredibly ripe, thick waves of sweet, honeyed fruit.
