Pantheon (Pomerol)
Packaged in a slightly oversized bottle, the wine is round, lush, forward, and fruity. Already open and accessible, the wine delivers its core of dark black fruits, chocolate, licorice, and espresso easily. The finish is still on the oaky side, so give it a year or two before pulling a cork. This is a new discovery for me, so it will be interesting to taste this in subsequent vintages.
