2020 Pauillac is an almost perfect vintage for the appellation. With slightly lower alcohol than you find in 2018 and 2019, the wines are beautiful. They are deeply colored, aromatic, intense, and refined, with creamy tannins, and silky, structured, finishes. Most will drink well with just a few years of cellaring, and yet, they have stuffing to age for decades!

2020 Margaux offers everything tastes want from the appellation. Strong floral displays, elegance, refinement, concentration, silky textures, length, and purity and while they can be enjoyed in their youth, due to their soft, creamy profiles, they also have the ability to age and evolve.

2020 St. Estephe wines are simply great. From top to bottom, at all price levels, these aromatic, elegant silky wines have it all going on. If you are already a fan of the appellation this is a vintage to take a serious look at. If you are not yet converted, 2020 will seduce you with its more than ample charms.

2020 Saint Julien wines combine elegance, richness, concentration, vibrancy, haunting aromatics, and freshness. With lower alcohol than recent vintages, silky, creamy textures, and purity, this is a gorgeous vintage across the board for St. Julien.

If you are a fan of sweet white Bordeaux, you are going to love this vintage. The wines are perfectly poised between sweetness and acidity. The issue is going to be finding any, as quantities were incredibly low this year.
