1993 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée St. Vivant Romanée St. Vivant Grand Cru Burgundy France Wine Tasting Note

Perhaps I did not get it, or maybe I was the only honest taster in the room that found this wine sharp, tart and overly acidic. Much better on the nose than the palate with its floral, spice and red berry character. The wine was just not that much fun to taste. My Burgundy loving friends assured me, the wine just needed time and food. I am positive they were seduced by the label and price.
