|2009||Quixote Petite Sirah Quixote (Stags Leap District)|
Inky in color, the wine is big, concentrated and mouth coating. There is nothing shy about this dense wine that ends with an interesting menthol note in the long, tannic, fruity finish.

|2009||Quixote Petite Sirah Helmet of Mambrino (Stags Leap District)|
Opaque in color, the wine is powerful, intense, youthful and mouth coating. Dense, fat and palate staining, it probably stains your teeth too, there is a lot going on here. There is an elegance to all the power, tannin, fruit and oak. This massive wine is not going to appeal to everyone. But if you like this style of Petite Sirah, this is seriously good stuff.
