Château Le Thil (Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux)
Flowers, cherries, plums, chocolate, and licorice create the character here in the nose, and on the medium-bodied, soft, and fresh, creamy palate, which already displays its supple, sweet, chocolate-covered cherry core of fruits, with a hint of mint that shows in the finish. This is going to be a pleasure to enjoy on release, and for at least a decade, or more after that. The wine was produced from 92% Merlot, and 8% Cabernet Franc.
