A text-book, rich, full-bodied Pomerol here with all of its multiple layers of rich, velvety-textured, black cherries, plums, dark chocolate, espresso, and wet earth. Still primary, but the wealth of fruit, ripe, polished, tannins, and opulent nature allows you to enjoy it now, even though its best days are clearly in the future. Drink from 2026-2055.

Powerful, intense, rich, opulent and still a baby, this hedonistic beauty is packed with silky-textured, black plums, espresso, dark cocoa, black cherry liqueur and wet earth. Perfectly balanced on both sides with its density of fruit, and velvet-textured, fresh, chocolate-covered berries, this could take until 2028-2030 before it begins to enter its secondary stage.

Truffle, smoke, licorice, cocoa, plum and cherry notes create the perfume. On the palate, the wine shines with its display of silky, sensuous, chocolate infused plums and smoked, cherries. Everything is wrapped up with velvet textured tannins. Give this a decade in the cellar and this will be a beauty.

Flowers, black cherry, boysenberry, truffle and dark chocolate pop right up in the perfume. Kind of an earthy Pop-Tartt. Deep ruby in color, this is all those things you associate with a sophisticated wine. The tannins are doing a little black cherry jig on your palate long after the wine has traveled on.

When to Drink Chateau Hosanna, Anticipated Maturity, Decanting Time

Chateau Hosanna is much better with at least 8-12 years of aging in good vintages when it is ready to be enjoyed. Young vintages can be decanted for 2-3 hours or more.

This allows the wine to soften and open its perfume. Older vintages might need very little decanting, just enough to remove the sediment. Chateau Hosanna offers its best drinking and should reach peak maturity between 10-30 years of age after the vintage.

Serving Chateau Hosanna with Wine, Food, Pairing Tips

Chateau Hosanna is best served at 15.5 degrees Celsius, 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The cool, almost cellar temperature gives the wine more freshness and lift.

Chateau Hosanna is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted braised, and grilled dishes. Chateau Hosanna is also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, and pasta.
