03 Montrose and Cos

Postby John Flegler » Wed Sep 07, 2016 11:30 am

Hi Jeff -

I saw you posted a tweet about diving into these two earlier in the week. How did they show? I have a daughter with an 03 birth year and, as you know, it can be a minefield to find wines that will age well for 30 years in this vintage. I own a case of both of these wines, but was thinking I might add a bit more.

My first post, enjoy the info here very much!

Hi John

Thanks for the note and the post. Both 2003 Bordeaux wines showed great! Those wines will be there in 30 years. You can see a note from July of this year on the 2003 Cos d'Estournel http://www.thewinecellarinsider.com/bor ... estournel/ and on the 2003 Montrose taste in May here: http://www.thewinecellarinsider.com/bor ... eaux-wine/
