2006 Brewer-Clifton, Rio Vista Pinot Noir;
Ruby with ruby rim, warm fruit but pure, some spices, alcohol shows through, strawberry jam. Good acidity, very ripe tannins, full bodied for a Pinot, slightly warm finish, OK length. 86
2006 Bergström, Bergström Vineyard Pinot Noir;
Ruby, more elegant fruit and nose than the Brewer-Clifton, spices, vanilla, strawberries and plums, more complex as well. Good acidity, ripe tannins, more intense, just a touch of alcohol in the finish. 88
