  1. 2006 Château Canon-la-Gaffelière

    1. A nice surprise. With a licorice, espresso, black cherry jam and earthy perfume, the wine is plush, polished and round, ending in a sweet, spicy, black and red fruit filled finish. It's clearly improved over the past few years. I'd let it rest for a few more years before popping another cork.
