Tasting older than expected, the wine focuses on its lush, ripe, slightly honeyed, sweet, fresh, red cherries, strawberries, flowers, touch of orange citrus and brioche. At close to 15 years of age, it's statring to show well, and it's only going to get better from here! This is one of the better young Champagnes I've tasted in ages. Apples, honeysuckle, brioche, sherry and cashew nuts, silky, soft, caressing textures, with sweet, apple and citrus fruits with just a dab of honey in the finish.
