2006 Vieux Château Certan

1. This is a sturdy style of Vieux Chateau Certan that is more interesting with its complex aromatics of truffle, chocolate, flowers, plums and spice, than it is in texture. Slightly masculine in style, the wine will improve with more time in the cellar. I continue to have a preference for 2004, 2005 and 2008, over the 2006.

2. This is a bigger, beefier style of VCC. Not as much finesse as the 05, but more tannin and concentration. I prefer the lush style of the 05
