2001 Artadi Rioja Pagos Viejos Reserva

1. Oaky, tobacco, vanilla, spice, and red fruits dominate the aromatics. Medium to full bodied with a finish that shows too much oak along with the strawberry and cherry flavors. Perhaps this wine will come together with more time, who knows? It's not a bad wine, but at this point, the oak stands out.
