Default Decant Time for 2003 Pichon Baron

I was planning on having a 2003 Pichon Baron for New Year's dinner and was wondering how long I should decant it?

    Thanks,
    Luis

    Hi Luis

This is a one of my favorite vintages of Pichon Baron. It's fleshy, rich, round and packed with juicy, ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. My current notes are here Pichon Longueville Baron

I would give it an hour and let it develop in the glass. It's a really nice style of Bordeaux wine. Your wine night is shaping up nicely...

Thank you for your posts, support and nice words. I appreciate it.

    Jeff,

Thanks for your advice and I will let you know how it is drinking.

    Cheers,

Louis, I hope you will post a note on it?

I bought a case of the 03 Tourelles de Longueville in 2010, to have as a more easy going wine to just enjoy for dinner, but to my surprice, it was still young and tight. I didn't open any bottles in 2011, expecting it to still need time.....
